“Our Space Our Future” Stakeholder Group Meeting in London
The ‘Our Space Our Future’ European project hosted an international stakeholder group meeting in London on the 29th of January to discuss current developments around outreach education initiatives related to space science and space exploration. Experts from all over Europe came together to share ideas and discuss approaches, evaluation, connection and collaboration strategies for bringing space and astronomy in to schools. Improving gender balance, promoting inclusion and diversity
were among the topics most discussed, while best practices for building resources and mobilizing the community where also shared.
Overall, the stakeholders meeting gave an abundance of inspiration to all participants and contributed in forging new alliances towards our common goal; bring space science to the classroom and inspiring students to be part of the next-generation of space explorers.
