FoodSHIFT Webinar: Shaking up the food system – How citizen-driven innovation is shifting the way we produce and consume food

Education for a new generation of food citizens

How much do we, or our children, really know about food? Food education in schools is essential for igniting an interest early on and fostering a new generation of food citizens who see what we eat as part of the bigger picture in our fight against climate change and towards greater sustainability and health.

In this webinar, we’ll explore the school leading the FoodSHIFT Lab in Athens with a focus on childhood obesity prevention with use of big data; the innovative Food Schools in the Municipality of Copenhagen; as well as the UK-based charity School Food Matters and its Fresh Enterprise 2020 project that looks to unearth the next generation of food entrepreneurs.
